Drop off your unadhorned Christmas tree.

Who is eligible to use the Compost Facility today?
  • Bernardsville Borough residents with ID
  • Contractors/Landscapers with  Contractor Brush Disposal Permits
What is accepted today?
  • Residential yard waste including leaves and brush
  • Logs less than 6" diameter
  • Styrofoam Packaging, Sheets and Coolers with tape, etc. removed.  See Gate Attendant for Plastic Bag and drop off location.  No peanuts, egg cartons or dirty Styrofoam.
What is NOT accepted?
  • NO Grass Clippings
  • NO Trash, Recycling, Electronics, Debris or other materials
Can I get compost, mulch or wood chips?
  • FREE compost, mulch or wood chips for residents with suitable transportation
  • Load your own containers or vehicles
  • BULK LOADING of materials by the Facility operator into suitable transportation
