Who is eligible to use the compost facility today?
- Bernardsville Borough Residents with ID
- Contractors/Landscapers with Contractor Brush Disposal Permits
What is accepted today?
- Residential yard waste including leaves and brush
- Logs less than 6" diameter
- Styrofoam Packaging, Sheets and Coolers with tape, etc. removed. See Gate Attendant for Plastic Bags and Placement details. NO Peanuts, Egg Cartons or Dirty Styrofoam.
What is NOT accepted?
- NO Grass Clippings
- NO Trash, Recycling, Electronics, Debris or other materials
Can I get compost, mulch or wood chips?
- FREE compost, mulch or wood chips for residents with suitable transportation
- Load your own containers or vehicle
- BULK LOADING of materials by the facility operator into suitable transportation
